For this week, since we will meet on Good Friday, please read Luke chapter 23, an account of the death of Jesus on the cross. These events are also covered in Matthew 27, Mark 15 and John 19. The cross and the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ have paramount importance to Christians. On Friday, we will discuss what happened when Jesus died on the cross, its meaning and significance.
